Glossary
Detected
Something the check worked out about your app without being told.
What it means
Detected sits between observed and declared. It means the check inferred something about your app from what it served: the builder that made it, the backend behind it, whether payments are wired up, whether a map file is published.
It is a reasonable inference, not a confession and not a measurement. Detection can be wrong, which is why every detected fact on a result can be corrected by the person who owns the app. Correcting one changes the checklist you get, so it is worth thirty seconds.
The point of detection is to stop asking questions the app can answer itself. A form with one field beats a form with seven, and the seven answers were never that reliable anyway.

ShipReady is not a penetration test or a security certification. No automated check can prove an application is secure.
